Emergency Drills

Friday 15 March

Today we had an evacuation drill as part of our emergency procedures practice at the R-6 Campus.  The evacuation alert triggers a process to be followed in the event of an internal danger or risk to students and staff.

We use the practice to reflect on any issues needing correction, but are pleased to say that compliance with the procedure was excellent. Students and staff worked together to follow the expectations in a calm and cooperative manner.

Students can expect regular drills for both invacuation and evacuation procedures so we can maintain high levels of safety in the unlikely event of a real emergency.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school.

Regards,
Jo Garwood

Governing Council Nomination Form 2024

Underlining all Governing Council decisions is a very strong focus on not only student outcomes, and student involvement in decision making, but also on building capacity for the future in our students and our teaching cohort.

Whilst membership of Governing Council takes time and dedication, the reward is that members play an important role influencing decisions that ultimately impact all aspects of our children’s learning environment, particularly in terms of equity and access. We hope you consider nominating for 2024 and beyond.
